Through her characters and excellent setting skills, Lessman has the unique ability to breathe into history. There were times while reading this I wanted to go squeeze my own lemons for lemonade.

Entertaining from page one, it’s a nice thick juicy book. Knowing Lessaman’s skill at writing I knew I needed to start reading in the morning because I wouldn’t stop until I was finished. She didn’t disappoint me. I finished the book late that night.
Katie’s story is one not to be missed.
