A Hope Undaunted by Julie Lessman is the first in the new Winds of Change series. A Hoe Undaunted hits the shelves with with the power of a best seller. You’ll want to get your’s now. You don’t won’t to be the last one among your friends to read this!
Through her characters and excellent setting skills, Lessman has the unique ability to breathe into history. There were times while reading this I wanted to go squeeze my own lemons for lemonade.
This is Katie Rose’s story and the Katie we’ve watched grow up in the previous series(The Daughters of Boston) has embraced all that the roaring twenties had to offer women. She has her list of what would make her life the bees knees and she’s determined to stick to that list –well she is Katie O’Conner and we would expect nothing less from her. And then…
out of her past steps Luck McGee and he may be the only man able to tame Miss O’Conner but can he get her to love him and toss out her life goals?
Entertaining from page one, it’s a nice thick juicy book. Knowing Lessaman’s skill at writing I knew I needed to start reading in the morning because I wouldn’t stop until I was finished. She didn’t disappoint me. I finished the book late that night.
Katie’s story is one not to be missed.
Book provided by Revell for review–but I’m buying my own copy. All of Julie Lessman’s books have a place on my shelf.

Wow, this was exciting to read. I met Julie at the Green Lake Christian Writer's Conference in August. She is so great!
