Riding a train in my imagination seems so romantic and adventurous. I’m not the only one who feels that way. Mary Owens wants an adventure like the ones her aunt has taken. Once she gets it then she’ll marry because that’s her father’s wish, though she is sure she can change his mind if she can take one adventure and return home safe. After that he will see she can handle anything that comes her way.
